Kent signs up March 5, 2002
The Swedish top group Kent joins SPOT 08 and thereby is an example of the Nordic ambitions of the SPOT Festival.
Kent - swedish top-act
at the SPOT Festival.

Having included the Swedish band Kent in the programme SPOT 08 has obtained no less than a top name for the festival at The Concert Hall Aarhus 10-11 May 2002.

The band from Eskildstuna is of a kind that supports the ambitions of the SPOT Festival as the place where new Nordic musik can be found.

Very hot, Kent gives a concert at The Concert Hall Aarhus in May, and 15 April the band releases their fifth album ”Vapen & Ammuntion” (”Guns and Ammunition”, red.).
The single ”Dom Andra” (”The Others”, red.) is released by Wednesday 6 March. Having sold more than 30,000 copies of their albums in Denmark alone the five rock musicians is the object of a lot of attention.
This has also been proved by ecstatic concerts at the Roskilde Festival.

Having included Kent and a few other goodies in the programme, SPOT 08 is beginning to take shape.
Teenage Idols, fellow countrymen of Kent, have signed up since the latest press release. And so has Norwegian Xploding Plastic and the Danish Junior Senior, Contemporanea, Resisters and Labrador.

All these names will perform at the festival along with Saybia, SubUrban Tribe (SF), Blue Foundation and about 30 other bands already published. About 12 names are yet to come.
